At IMVF we are closely following the epidemiological progression of the pandemic outbreak caused by COVID-19.
The team members at our Lisbon headquarters are currently working from home, missions and trips to countries of action have been suspended while events and meetings postponed, unless held virtually.
Although working remotely, we’re in constant contact with all members of the team, in Portugal and abroad, as well as with our partners and funders.
We continue to ensure our commitment to Development, promoting human dignity, improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable populations and the sustainability of our planet.
To this end, we shall continue to work in the same committed manner, engaging through different forms of digital communication, ensuring continuity to our projects and activities – within the current constraints -, in all geographical locations and in strict collaboration with our partners in development.
Today, our action, as always, is guided by our core values: solidarity, gender equality, sustainability, rigor and transparency.
This is also a time for reflection and reinvention.
We’re still reachable by email. We’ll sustain communication through our website, social media and newsletter. Count on us. We’re counting on you.
Revisit our photos and videos, our studies and publications and listen to our playlist dedicated to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We recommend following the Government and health authorities’ guidelines, wherever you may be, as well as those emitted by the World Health Organization.
Take care of yourselves and others so we can overcome this situation, as quickly as possible, together.
