Raise awareness and Inform. Those are the objectives of the conference organised by Clube de Lisboa on the 22nd and 23rd of February 2021 on the topic of the ocean and its challenges.
Under the motto “The Ocean that belongs to all” it will have 29 speakers from 17 different nationalities and 3 continents encompassing several oceanic geographies.
The conference will have the presence of the Portuguese Ministers of Sea and National Defense and several experts, activists and leaders who work on the topics of the Ocean. The closing session will have the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for the Ocean Decade.
The sessions will be transmitted live on Zoom (with simultaneous translation and mandatory registration here) and via YouTube (no registration required).
The event is organized with the cooperation of the Embassy of Japan in Portugal, in collaboration with the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA), in partnership with the Oceano Azul Foundation, the Instituto Hidrográfico Português and the Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA) Portugal and with the support of Câmara Municipal de Lisboa and Instituto Marquês de Valle Flôr (IMVF).
