Are you a registered Civil Society Organisation based in Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia and interested in joining the fight for food justice?
Our Food. Our Future is co-funded by the EU under the Development Education and Awareness Raising Programme (DEAR) and brings together 16 civil society organisations in 13 countries. Our vision is to build a strong coalition of young people (ages 15 – 35 years old) across Europe and work together in the pursuit of our common vision: A socially just and sustainable food system.
OFOF is inviting proposals from Civil Society Organisations based in Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia to join our campaign!
Objective of this call? We are looking for organisation to join Our Food. Our Future to broaden the impact of our campaign in Europe by expanding the reach of the project’s messages and activities in more European countries.
How much financial assistance is available? Each organisation can apply for up to 60,000 Euros for the entire duration of the Sub-grant (no co-funding requirements). The duration can range from 12-22 months.
Who can apply? Our Food. Our Future support will be eligible for registered civil society organisations (CSOs) in the following countries: Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia. Preference will be given to small NGOs and grassroot organisations.
What is the thematic focus?
➢ to inform and improve the awareness of the youth about the links between food and migration and/or climate change and
➢ to engage the target groups in shaping changes for a more ethical food system.
➢ to focus mainly on youth (age range 15–35 years old).
➢ In addition, we welcome but do not require proposals on target groups such as journalists, influencers, multipliers, or policy makers.
➢ In addition, we welcome but do not require, knowledge on one of the following topics:
o Climate change and food supply chains, Covid and food supply chains, Agricultural migrant workers, Sustainable food consumption, Agroecology, Farm to Fork policy.
