ACCIONAD-ODS
Actions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals through the participation of local actors: a territorial approach
Portugal (Alentejo and Algarve) and Spain (Estremadura and Andalusia)
Partnerships are not just one of the 5 Principles of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development – People, Planet, Peace, Partnerships and Prosperity – they are also the pillar of the sustainable development strategy and the foundation for ensuring a fairer, more inclusive, dignified and sustainable world.
The “ACCIONAD-ODS” project, implemented in the cross-border areas between Portugal and Spain, reflects a coherent intervention to boost smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, aimed at promoting sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11), sustainable production and consumption (SDG 12) and climate action (SDG 13).
ACCIONAD-ODS brings a cross-regional look at the SDGs, representing an opportunity to address innovative sustainable development processes with different development actors.
